Some account, reporting and on-device controls described below require the updated RouteWhiz app. If a control is unavailable in your installed version, contact support@routewhiz.com or privacy@routewhiz.com for help. Server-side AI processing requires the current consent version.
Agreement and eligibility
By using RouteWhiz you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. For distribution through Apple, the Apple Standard EULA also applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. You must be at least 13 years old and meet applicable local eligibility requirements. Keep your account secure and provide accurate account information.
Service and user content
RouteWhiz provides travel planning, routes, maps, travel tools, collaboration and AI-assisted suggestions, with free and paid features described in the app. You retain ownership of your submitted content and grant the permissions needed to host, process and display it to you and people you choose to share with. You must have the right to upload files or information about other travelers.
Do not submit unlawful, abusive, exploitative, deceptive, dangerous or privacy-infringing material; harass others; misuse travel documents; send spam; circumvent access/usage limits; or interfere with the service. You can report visible profiles, routes, reviews and AI responses. We may investigate, hide or remove violating content and restrict abusive accounts. Automated text checks are limited and do not constitute automatic image moderation. Contact support@routewhiz.com for concerns.
AI features
Personal travel data is shared with OpenAI only after the current explicit in-app consent. The disclosure describes messages, relevant context, dates, preferences, places, relevant notes and location for nearby requests. Documents are not included in this travel consent; document AI parsing is disabled. You can withdraw consent in Settings; information already sent cannot be recalled.
AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated. Check important safety, transport, opening-hour, booking, pricing, legal and immigration information independently. Do not use RouteWhiz as your sole source for emergencies or medical, legal or safety-critical decisions. Paid AI access remains subject to disclosed usage limits and provider availability.
Purchases and subscriptions
Prices, billing periods, trial eligibility, benefits and limits are displayed before purchase using store information. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can restore purchases and manage subscriptions through the relevant store. Refunds follow the payment platform's rules and mandatory consumer rights. Account deletion does not automatically cancel store subscriptions.
Sharing, moderation and deletion
Shared trips and public content are visible according to their access settings. Blocking and reporting tools help manage unwanted interaction. We may restrict or remove content to enforce these terms, protect users or comply with law.
In-app account deletion removes uploaded files and trips you own, including shared trips. The confirmation explains this effect on collaborators. Trips owned by others remain with your personal financial attribution anonymized and financial totals preserved. Cleanup may continue through retries; an accepted request and completed deletion are distinct states. Apple access is revoked when credentials are available; otherwise manual access-removal instructions are provided. Local account data is cleaned by the app, but copies exported outside RouteWhiz remain under your control.
Third-party services and availability
The app depends on providers for hosting, AI, purchases, maps, travel content, notifications, analytics and diagnostics as described in the Privacy Policy. Their terms, data quality and availability may affect the service. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or the accuracy of real-world travel information.
Liability and changes
To the extent allowed by applicable law, the service is provided as available, and we are not responsible for indirect losses, third-party outages or decisions based solely on generated content. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. We may update service features and terms; material data-sharing changes still require the relevant explicit AI permission.
